Bedford Trails: 

I-77 South to Independence-Rockside Road exit.  Take a left off of the exit.  Follow Rockside Road to Canal Road and take a right onto Canal Road.  Take Canal Road to Alexander Road (you will curve to the left up to Alexander Road).  Follow Alexander Road a few miles to the corner of Dunham Road - we meet at the parking lot to the left (Corner of Alexander and Dunham).  There is a hilly bridal trail and an asphalt trail with rolling hills...Very scenic.  (Has port-o-johns).

Hinkley Hills:

Take 71 south to 303. Take 303 east to 606. Take 606 south to Bellus Rd. Take Bellus Rd. East about 400 yds (past dam/waterfall on your right). Turn right into park, and right again into car park.

Metropark Marina / Scenic Park Picnic Area:

Enter the Rocky River Metropark from Detroit Road.  The Marina parking lot is to the right at the base of the hill.

Metropark Little Met Golf Course:

Located at approximately the 4.5 mile mark of the Metropark Road (from Detroit entrance).  Located by the hills of Fairview Hospital and Story Road.

Metropark Big Met Golf Course:

Located at approximately the 5.5 mile mark of the Metropark Road (from Detroit entrance).  Near the park entrance off of Wooster Road and Lorain Road.

Rocky River High School Track:

Located at the intersection of Wagar/West 210^th Street and Detroit Road. Coming from the East: take I90 West to Hilliard Exit then turn right on to Westway Drive.  Follow Westway west parallel to I90 and then turn right onto Wagar/West 210^th St. and the Track/Stadium parking lot is on Detroit Road.  Coming from the West: Take I90 east and exit on the Detroit Road exit.  Turn left and drive over I90 and follow Detroit Road to Rocky River High (on the right).

Black River Reservation Burr Oak entrance:

I90 West to Rte 254/Detroit Road Exit.  Turn right/north on to Detroit Road past Mike Bass Ford & Quaker Steak.  Prior to the bridge turn on to Golf Road then immediate right on to Ford Road. Follow the Lorain County Park signs and the rolling hill road to entrance on the right.  Park has a pavilion and bathrooms. Map at: http://www.loraincountymetroparks.com/maps/br_directions.htm

Pine Hollow Field at Virginia Kendall Hills Park:

Take I77 south to Miller Road Exit – turn left follow to Rte 21/Brecksville Road.  Turn right onto Rte 21 to Snowville Road and turn left.  Follow Snowville to Riverview Road and turn right and follow to Rte 303/Village of Peninsula.  Turn left onto 303 and then turn right to Akron Peninsula Road.  Follow past Brandywine Golf Course to Quick Road and turn left.  Follow this rolling hilly road to Pine Hollow parking lot on the right.  If you miss the first entrance, there is another in 300 yds.  Heated Bathrooms are open for changing gear afterward. Sandy Ridge Reservation - 6195 Otten Road, North Ridgeville, Oh 44039:

From Elyria:  Take Center Ridge Rd. (Rt. 20) east to Case Rd. (across from old Ridgeview Shopping Center).  Turn left onto Case Rd. then turn onto Otten Rd.  Drive about a mile to park entrance.  From Avon:  Take Rt. 254 west to Case Rd. and turn left onto Case Rd.  Take Case Rd. to Otten Rd.  Turn left onto Otten Rd.  Drive to park entrance.  Form Lorain:  Tkae Rt. 57 south to Rt. 254 and turn left (east).  Take Rt. 254 to Case Rd. and turn right (south).  Take Case Rd. to Otten Rd. and turn left onto Otten Rd.  Drive to park entrance.  Water and bathrooms available.  Soft crushed limestone smooth trail (1.1 mile loop).  Very scenic.  Web site:  www.loraincountymetroparks.com

Cleveland MetroParks Zoo:

Located off West 25^th Street.  Take I 71 to West 25^th Street. Turn south on to West 25^th St. follow over the bridge and the signs for the Zoo.  The entrance is on the right down the hill.  Meet at the Main Gate of the Zoo, a Zoo Pass will be needed. Map of Zoo at: www.clemetzoo.com

French Creek Pine Tree Picnic Area:

From Cleveland take I90 West to Rte 611 exit, turn right taking Rte 611/Colorado Ave. west to Rte 301/Abbe Road.  French Creek has two entrances – the Nature Center on 611/Colorado Ave but we will run from the French Creek Drive entrance known as the Pine Tree Picnic area. So at the intersection of 611 & 301 turn left on to 301/Abbe Road to French Creek Drive then turn right and the entrance is JUST past the railroad tracks.  Maps for French Creek at http://www.loraincountymetroparks.com/maps/fcr_directions.htm

Westlake Rec. Center:

Located 1/4 mile east of Crocker-Basett Road on Hilliard Blvd.  Asphalt 1.25 mile loop.  (Water and bathrooms available).
